[Bio of Tommy] :

Ir Tommy CHEUNG is a registered engineer with the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and a chartered engineer with the Engineering Council. He is currently working as a Lecturer at IVE (Haking Wong), VTC, specializing in Electrical, Electronic, and Computer Engineering.

In addition to his roles as a registered engineer and a Lecturer, Ir Tommy CHEUNG is actively involved in professional organizations. He serves as the Honorary Treasurer (Session 2023) of the Younger Members Section Committee of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. Furthermore, he holds the position of Convenor, Academic of the Control, Automation & Instrumentation Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.

Ir Tommy CHEUNG led the VTC Solar Car Team – SOPHIE, representing the institution in the World Solar Challenge in both 2015 and 2017. These experiences demonstrate his commitment to professional development and his active participation in the engineering community.
