I am thrilled to address you as the Deputy Chairperson of HKETA and Chairperson of Startup and Mentorship Sub-com. With over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor field, it is an honor to serve in this capacity.

Looking ahead to 2024, our focus within the Startup & Mentorship Sub-com will be on the Innovate For Future (IFF) event. IFF is an open competition that encourages innovation and technology among the youth of Hong Kong. It challenges participants to create innovative products or services that address real-life challenges, from concept to prototype development.

Our mission is to not only inspire young people but also to develop and support winning teams in their journey towards becoming startup companies. We will achieve this through mentorship programs in collaboration with our industrial and academic partners. Additionally, we are excited to invite Venture Capital and Angel Fund to our startup ecosystem, further enhancing support for our aspiring entrepreneurs.
