I am delighted to introduce myself as Eric Poon, the Chairman of the Internship & Continuing Professional Development Sub-com at HKETA. With 13 years of experience in software design, my primary focus has been on software product design and startups.

Looking forward to the upcoming year, my main objective is to establish connections with tertiary institutions in Hong Kong, particularly IVE and the universities. My aim is to bridge the gap between the supply and demand of internship opportunities, facilitating valuable industry experience for students while assisting companies in acquiring future talent.

By fostering these internship opportunities, we can cultivate a strong ecosystem that benefits both the students and the industry. Moreover, I am dedicated to providing continuous professional development opportunities for the interns, ensuring that they enhance their skills and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
