Ms Yolanda WANG
Yolanda is a Chinese Patent Attorney and a Chinese Patent Litigator who can represent clients before the courts in China. She has over 15 years of IP experience, including 13 years at Eagle IP Limited, an award-winning, HK-based patent specialist firm with offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Macau.
Yolanda oversees the China patent prosecution team at Eagle IP and focuses on advising foreign and local clients on China patent issues, portfolio management, patent prosecution, and filing strategy worldwide. Her practice includes patent invalidation oral hearings before the Patent Reexamination Board (PRB) at CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration, formerly SIPO).
Yolanda has advised many international clients on very complex China patent law issues, including providing creative, out-of-the-box solutions. She is persistent and isn’t afraid to call up patent examiners on a regular basis to advocate on behalf of her clients. She has successfully obtained granted patents for clients with very difficult-to-prosecute cases.
Before beginning her IP career in 2008, Yolanda worked in academic research in the area of DNA on-chip detection utilizing CMOS technology. Her research has been published in several academic journals and presented at academic conferences.
Yolanda’s areas of expertise include medical device, bioengineering, biomedical engineering, nano-fabrication technology, and material science.
