Chief Technology Officer of NAMI

Dr. Tracy Liu   劉晨敏博士

Dr. Tracy Liu is the Chief Technology Officer of Nano and Advanced Materials Institute (NAMI), and she leads and directs NAMI’s research projects and related works, cum oversees the market segment of Electronics. She received her B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Materials Science from Beihang University (Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics). Before joining NAMI, Dr. Liu had worked at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST).

Dr. Liu has over 20 years of R&D experience in the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials as well as their applications in batteries, solid-state lighting, and electronic devices. She has published over 20 papers in renowned journals and receive several awards including 2^nd prize of State Natural Science Award (國家自然科學獎2013).

Since joining NAMI, Dr. Liu has filed more than 30 patents and enabled NAMI to receive a number of international innovations and technological achievement awards, including Edison Award, R&D 100, CES Innovation Award, Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, etc.
