The 10th Symposium on Innovation and Technology, held on October 13, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, was a collaborative effort by the Hong Kong Electronics & Technologies Association and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. The event featured esteemed Guest of Honour Ir Tony Wong, JP, who opened the symposium with remarks highlighting the importance of innovation. Ir Tony Wong also visited the HKETA booth, where he engaged with industry leaders and learned about their innovations.

Key presentations included Mr. Stanley Sum on “Navigating Robotic Economies,” Mr. Kenny Lau discussing “Drone Delivery Technology,” Mr. John Sze on “The Invisible Semiconductor Backbone,” Mr. Pinestone Shi addressing “Unmanned Surface Vessels,” and Mr. Desmond Ho on “Accelerating Innovation.” Moderated by Dr. Paulina Chan, whose role was crucial in guiding discussions, the symposium concluded with a luncheon that facilitated networking among speakers and VIPs, emphasizing advancements in technology and their implications for various sectors.
