(1) “Innovative Full-Color Micro-LED Micro-Display Technology: A Revolutionising technology for for AR/XR industry”

Raysolve demonstrated a remarkable successful story in the optoelectronic industry. In the September 2022, she has raised US$10 million in Pre-Series A+ and Pre-Series A++ financing led by Inno-chip and AAC Technologies respectively, along with her existing investor Gaorong Capital. 

[Abstract]: The miniaturization of LED makes it suitable for display screens of various sizes. As a new display technology, Micro-LED has unique advantages in the field of micro-display, with the characteristics of high brightness, low power consumption and high reliability, and is considered the only solution for AR/XR devices. Thanks to the foundation of the traditional LED manufacturing process, the development of Micro-LED micro-display technology began with 4 inch sapphire substrate and flip-chip technology, which are suitable for low-resolution displays, but it cannot meet the needs of AR/XR displays. Moreover, due to the limitation of GaN material growth and integration process, it has been impossible to realize monolithic color display. Now, Raysolve will redefine monolithic integration technology and realize wafer-level full-color Micro-LED micro-display chips, which will be the best micro-display technology in the AR/XR industry in the future.

[Bio]: Dr. Wing Cheung CHONG, the founder and CEO of Raysolve, studied his MPhil and PhD under HKUST Professor Kei May LAU, a world-renowned professor in the field of optoelectronics. Dr. Chong has been engaged in the research and development of Micro-LED, GaN, semiconductor fabrication and advanced materials for over 15 years, with over 40 publications in international journals, 130 patents and numerous awards for his remarkable works. Dr. Chong and his team have successfully developed a number of record-setting Micro-LED micro-display chips.

周永昌先生是飞锃半导体的创始人兼首席执行官,公司专注开发和制造碳化硅的电 力电子器件和电源模块,用于电力管理和节能解决方案。飞锃半导体总部设在中国 上海,在深圳和香港设有分公司。周先生2015年加入香港华智科技出任先进技术发 展副总裁, 创建碳化硅业务部。周先生成功在大中华开发第一件基于6英寸 SiC晶圆 的二极管器件。2017年既而成功分拆,建立为創能動力科技有限公司。

在担任此职之前,他曾担任中芯国际晶圆厂高级总监和多个关键领导职务,负责设计 和建造B2先进12英寸生产工厂,B1 Fab厂长负责中国第一条12英寸晶圆代工线,管理 所有先进DRAM代工服务和担任中芯国际研发总监,创建DRAM代工业务。

在加入中芯国际之前,他曾在德州仪器新加坡DRAM晶圆厂,随后加入美光科技, 任高级工程和项目经理十年。带领了许多全球项目,将7个DRAM技术节点从美国 和日本转移到新加坡。

周先生拥有35年Fab运营,研发和项目管理方面丰富的经验,覆盖亚洲,北美和欧洲。 在领导不同国籍和文化的工程师和管理人员团队方面拥有丰富的经验,并取得成就。 周先生1988年毕业于香港大学物理系,获得理学学士学位。
